I would like to make an open invitation to my friends, family, scholars, students, business associates, and colleges.
Maitripa Institute is holding its second annual Winter Benefit and Auction. This is a great opportunity to see a little of Tibet, bid on antique items from Tibet, Nepal and India, and participate in supporting a new and growing school.
The event will be held on November 9th from 6:30-9:00pm at the Arista Ballroom on 3862 SE Hawthorne, Blvd., Portland, Oregon 97214. There will be hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction, formal dinner buffet and an evening program. Tickets are $100 per plate and Founding Family tickets are $1,000 and include two plates and a special thanks from Yangsi Rinpoche (who’s currently meeting with the Dalai Lama in Washington while he receives the Congressional Gold Medal).
